The Vision
Architectural Concept & Vision
Kintamani Resort is conceived as a dialogue between architecture and landscape, where built form acts as a subtle extension of the volcanic terrain. The project is organized through a series of terraced volumes that step naturally along the slope, ensuring uninterrupted views toward Mount Batur and the surrounding caldera.
The design prioritizes visual continuity and spatial fluidity, with expansive glazing and open-plan layouts that dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior. Horizontal lines emphasize the calm, grounded character of the architecture, while a sculptural curved volume introduces a contrasting softness and defines the project’s identity.
Water elements and reflective surfaces are strategically integrated to amplify light, mirror the landscape, and enhance the sensory experience. The result is a refined architectural composition that frames nature while maintaining a quiet and timeless presence.
