In 2013, Antonio Rutilio Design developed an architectural remodeling and interior design concept for Viva V Samaná, a resort located in Bahía de Cosón, Las Terrenas, in the Samaná Peninsula, Dominican Republic. The proposal focused on renewing the architectural identity of the resort and redesigning the guest room interiors through warm wood finishes, integrated furniture, indirect lighting and a contemporary hospitality atmosphere. The design aimed to strengthen the relationship between the built spaces, the tropical landscape and the indoor-outdoor lifestyle of the Caribbean setting. The project included concept design and 3D visualization; the construction phase was not supervised by the studio.
This project is part of the studio’s international work. See how it works as an Italian architect worldwide.
