Antonio Rutilio is an Italian architect, engineer and designer with over two decades of international experience in architecture, hospitality and residential developments.
Educated at the University of Cagliari as both Civil Engineer and Architect, he developed a multidisciplinary approach that integrates architecture, visualization and strategic design thinking.
His career began working alongside Eng. Maria Laura Rutilio, combined with early experience in 3D visualization and design. He quickly moved into international hospitality projects, contributing to developments in the Caribbean with Viva Wyndham Resorts.
Throughout his career, he has worked across Europe, the Caribbean and Central America, developing projects in Mexico, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Italy and beyond. His work ranges from architecture to masterplanning and hospitality concepts.
Now based in Bali, he leads Virtuard Reality Design, focusing on original architecture, immersive environments and development concepts tailored to evolving markets.
In recent years, the studio has developed multiple projects across Bali, Lombok and Sumba, including villa complexes, boutique resorts and larger-scale concepts.
His work is defined by a clear principle: architecture should not only express identity, but also generate long-term value.
