Visualizing a New Residential Layer within Viva Dominicus

Developed in 2012–2013 for Viva Wyndham Resorts under the direction of Ettore Colussi, Viva Residence Dominicus explored two low-rise residential buildings integrated into the existing Dominicus resort in Bayahibe. Antonio Rutilio was commissioned for the complete 3D visualization and presentation campaign and also contributed selected interior and pool concepts. The archived delivery included high-resolution renderings, contextual photomontages, a 360-degree panorama and an animated walkthrough.

The Vision

Two Residential Buildings, One Shared Tropical Landscape

The visualization studies focused on the relationship between the two residence buildings, the existing resort fabric and a shared central pool landscape. Repeated balconies, shaded terraces and roof pergolas reinforce the tropical residential character. The pool was treated not only as a leisure feature but as a spatial device capable of reflecting light and organizing the central communal space.

The Lifestyle

Pool, Terraces and Outdoor Living

The shared outdoor environment is organized around a free-form pool, sun terraces, landscaped areas and private balconies. The renderings also explore rooftop pergolas and shaded transitional spaces, extending the residence experience into the Caribbean climate.
