Architect Lombok

Antonio Rutilio is an Italian architect based in Bali, working on villa, resort and masterplan projects in Lombok and across Indonesia. The studio combines architectural design, interiors, engineering coordination and immersive 3D presentations to help clients develop a clear project before construction.

Villa and resort design in Lombok

A beachfront villa, a hillside residence and a boutique resort require different responses. We study orientation, shade, ventilation, privacy, site access and the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. For hospitality projects, the brief also covers guest circulation, service areas, maintenance and the way the property will operate.

Start with the land and a feasibility study

Before fixing a layout, we review available site information, topography, access, drainage, utilities and the intended use. Structural and geotechnical consultants assess ground conditions and engineering requirements; qualified local professionals verify planning and approval constraints. A first concept helps compare building areas, development phases and construction priorities.

From concept to a coordinated design

The scope can include masterplanning, architecture, interior and landscape design, BIM documentation, engineering coordination, tender support and construction management. Deliverables and responsibilities are agreed for each commission. Renderings, 360 tours and interactive walkthroughs help owners and partners review the design before committing to construction.

Planning your Lombok project

Share the location, site area, survey or available drawings, photographs, intended use and an initial budget range. We can then define the first study and the specialist input needed. Construction costs and timelines depend on the site, specification, procurement and project scope; they are established through a project-specific assessment.

Can you work with clients outside Indonesia?

Yes. Early design reviews can take place online, with site visits and local coordination arranged according to the agreed scope.

Can the brief include several villas or a resort?

Yes. A masterplan can compare layouts, shared facilities, access and development phases before individual buildings are developed in detail.

Our Lombok project: Newearth Eco Resort

At Tanjung Ringgit, the studio developed the architectural concept and masterplan for Lombok Resort, also presented as Newearth Eco Resort. The 2025 project explores coastal hospitality shaped by the natural contours of the land, landscape preservation, ventilation and ocean views. The images show the design proposal.
