The Vision
Architectural Concept & Vision
Oasis Residence Ubud is conceived as a contemporary interpretation of tropical living, where architecture, landscape, and climate are seamlessly integrated. The project is organized around a central open-air spine that acts as both a circulation core and a vertical garden, bringing natural light, ventilation, and greenery deep into the building.
The architectural language balances solidity and permeability, with textured stone volumes contrasted by recessed openings, shaded balconies, and perforated elements that filter light and air. This interplay creates a dynamic façade while ensuring privacy and thermal comfort in a dense tropical environment.
Materiality plays a key role in grounding the project within its context, drawing from natural tones and tactile surfaces that reflect Ubud’s local character. The sequence of spaces—from shaded entrances to open courtyards and elevated terraces—creates a gradual transition between public and private realms.
The result is a residential architecture that feels both contemporary and rooted, offering a calm and immersive living environment shaped by light, shadow, and nature.
