Architectural Vision: Harmonizing with Nature

Kemenuh Villa Bali stands as a testament to the seamless integration of modern luxury and the raw beauty of the Balinese jungle. Designed by Antonio Rutilio, the villa’s architectural vision focuses on creating a sanctuary that honors its tropical surroundings. Consequently, this project offers an unparalleled living experience for its inhabitants by blending gracefully into the landscape. This villa is situated on a challenging slope in the heart of Kemenuh. Because of this location, the house provides pristine views and a tranquil atmosphere. Furthermore, we used natural materials, such as local volcanic stone and reclaimed teak timber. Indeed, these choices ensure that the structure feels like a natural part of the island.

Our design philosophy revolves around ‘Modern Tropicalism,’ where open-plan spaces and soaring high ceilings invite the outside in. By deliberately minimizing the boundaries between the interior and exterior, Kemenuh Villa maintains a constant, immersive connection to the lush greenery. In fact, large, floor-to-ceiling glass partitions and signature cantilevered roofs provide essential protection from the elements. Simultaneously, these features offer completely unobstructed views of the surrounding forest canopy. Therefore, the result is a dynamic living space that truly breathes with its environment. Moreover, this connection to nature defines the essence of the project.

Luxury Amenities and Tropical Comfort

Inside, the villa serves as a masterclass in elegant, functional tropical living. We meticulously crafted each room to offer a perfect balance of privacy and communal comfort. Besides this, every space features artisanal finishes and textures that reflect Bali’s deep cultural heritage. For example, the expansive main living area flows effortlessly onto a spacious infinity pool deck. In this area, the rhythmic sound of the nearby Petanu River creates a soothing, natural backdrop for relaxation. Additionally, every detail, from the ambient lighting to the bespoke furniture, enhances the overarching sense of peace. Thus, we have achieved a holistic sense of luxury.

The master suite serves as the ultimate private retreat, boasting panoramic 270-degree jungle views. This luxurious space includes a spa-like bathroom that masterfully blends indoor sophistication with an airy outdoor feeling. Furthermore, we discreetly integrated contemporary sustainable practices. These include clever passive cooling techniques and advanced rainwater harvesting systems.
